you will never see them
I explore the idea of forever gone: you see the eyes and the title of each image; the rest, whatever it is, is in our heads. Now, imagine you will never see any animals again.
I created two sculptural forms for these photographs. One is made of warped tree branches wrapped in a fine red thread; the other is a mix of fabric, black paper pulp, wires and jute twine. The malleably of the used materials allows for uniques shapes that disappear and reemerge on every new picture. The eyes in the photos are an appropriation from internet searched images under the words "animal eyes."
